There are a ton of twists and turns within the book and I don’t want to give any of it away, but please know that this book is dark. It’s incredibly written and I loved it, but there were many times I had to put it down, walk away for a while, and come back to it. But it’s definitely worth reading. It’s really good-just really dark.
If you love dystopian female empowerment stories, this is perfect for you.
That’s all you need to know. It’s incredible. It’s full of action, sword fighting, magic, spells, and hot necromancers. What more do you want?

This book comes with a few caveats-you need to suspend belief and just enjoy the ride. While there were a few points where I found myself saying out loud, "Seriously?!?", overall, this is a great revenge story and I really enjoyed it. It's difficult to tell more about the plot without giving away all the surprises, but just know that each character plays a vital part in the story and no one is as they seem. I found the plot moved very quickly and it wrapped up with a very satisfying ending.
